We stopped doing his neck exercises and after 2 weeks we noticed a difference, but he still has to endure them. It is amazing what a difference the exercises make. His head is still a little wobbly, but it is getting much better. He had his 4 month appointment and he weighed 12.4 Pounds and 24.25 inches.
We put Jared in his own room at 3 months and he did great; I think we both are sleeping better. We also unswaddle him a little while after. I have to admit I was terrified that I would be up ALL night. Once again I was nicely surprised and there was not much change in his sleeping. He still struggles with nap time but we can sometimes get him to take a nap in his swing. The day he turned four months he slept until 6:00, it was amazing! Hopefully we can get some more nights like that.
Jared got his first haircut at 3 months by his daddy, and man does this kid still have a lot of hair. I still find it humorous how different my two boys hair was a birth.
Well my little boy is now almost 6 months and I still haven't taken time to add pictures so I can finally post it. At five months Jared is starting to sit on his own, but is still pretty wobbly. He also got his first tooth on Christmas, and for getting a tooth he was so good. He loves carrots, sweet potatoes, prunes, and peas; pretty much everything we feed him, except rice cereal. He is starting to give us the puppy dog look when we eat that just says can I have some too.
He is just such a happy baby. It completely makes my day when he smiles at me. He will also try to laugh when I laugh which is simply adorable. I love bath time because he just enjoys his baths so much. My two little boys sure do have me wrapped around their little fingers.
