Will: Jared has brown hair.
Me: What color of hair do you have?
Will: Red
Me: What color of hair do I have?
Will stops and thinks for a bit and then responds with "something else hair". I couldn't stop laughing.
He then asks mom what color of hair do you have?
Later that night I ask him again what color of hair do I have?
This time Will responds with pretty hair.

6,7, and 8 months
I am just so lucky to be this little boy's mother. He is incredibly sweet and such a happy baby. At his 6 month appointment he weighed 13.9 lbs and 26 inches, he is our little boy. He LOVES solid food and not such a big fan of bottles and breastfeeding. At his 6 month appointment his head still has a flat spot in the back so our doctor referred us to a specialist if we wanted to get a helmet for him. His ears are misaligned and we wanted to fix it for him so we decided to get a helmet. He got it on Valentines Day and he is such a trooper. Poor little boy not only got his helmet but was getting both of his top teeth at the same time. He is still my happy boy. Depending if we catch a growth spurt he will have the helmet for 2 to 4 months.
At 6 months Jared really started trying to crawl, he was constantly getting to his hands and knees and rocking. Then he got distracted and then worked on trying to stand up. He is one determined little boy. Jared finally decided to start rolling over, which also means that diaper changes have become 100 times harder. Once Jared rolled over, pretty soon he could go from his back to sitting up.
7 months was a huge month for Jared. He learned to crawl and he loves to get into things. After learning to crawl it only took a couple of days for him to master pulling himself up on things. He is also trying to walk with a push toy. He is growing up so fast. He loves to laugh with his brother and Will loves to make him laugh, especially when I am trying to feed him. Something cute Jared has been doing is when he is by something soft like a blanket or a pillow he will lay his head down on it and feel it. When he is crawling and gets tired he will just lay down on the ground like he is going to sleep and then get up after a little whine and trys to keep going. He is just a joy

At eight months Jared is a boy on the move. It is so fun to watch him explore. We could be in the living room and he'll decide to go and explore the play room or some where else by himself. Some things that he has been up to is:
-feeding himself puffs
-starting to refuse a bottle
-pulling to standing
-trying to stand on his own
-trying to clap
-playing peek a boo
